My name is Elaina. I am a stay at home mom first and foremost to my beautiful son Dontae aka Tae.  He is the light of my life and the only person who I place before anyone else in my life.

I am 29 years old.  I am also single, but I am not particularly looking for love at this moment due to the fact I just got out of an abusive relationship.

I am black woman.

I love to write and read.  Right now my writing has been limited to blogging because I’ve got a bad case of writers block.  I am working on a crime novel as well as poetry and erotica.  I like reading true crime, crime novels, some fantasy, horror novels, and  some history.

I have a chronic illness called Sickle Cell Anemia, which causes me to be sick and in pain a lot.  I do complain about it often, but I also deal with it.  I’ve had a stroke due to my illness when I was 9. I’ve survived death. Right now I am dealing with the degeneration of my bones in my hips and knees.  I’ve had my right hip replaced due to that.

I am a chronic depressive and I get emo at times but I am feeling good as of now. I am on Effexor and it’s helped my mood a lot lately.

I will not put up with people walking all over me and abusing me.  If that makes you feel good to do that to someone then move on because I’ve dealt with enough of that BS.

I have a great set of RL friends who I consider my family as well.  I love hanging out with them and laughing a lot.
